Biographical Information: Ernest was born on 03 December 1921, the second son of Harry and Lilian Sparkes, of 184 Three Spires Avenue, Radford, Coventry. He worked as a porter at the Kings Head Hotel prior to joining the Marines on 14 March 1939. He married his wife Prudence in January 1941. He was 19 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
